A weekend
built on curiosity.
Breck Sky Fest is being developed for November 2026, with astronomy at its heart and room for art, learning, and local events across the weekend.
The plan brings together school astronomy sessions, a community telescope night, daytime science, and a ticketed signature mountain evening. Local workshops, talks, food, and other activities can add to the program as partners join.
Exact dates, venues, and individual events are still being arranged. The program preview shows the direction we’re working toward, with unconfirmed details clearly marked.

There’s a lot
worth looking up for.
You don’t need a science background to be curious about a planet, a distant star, or the light that reaches us from another galaxy.
A telescope gives that curiosity somewhere to go. So does an experiment, a conversation, a photograph, or a piece of art.
Dark skies are part of the festival’s focus, too. We want guests to experience the night and learn how thoughtful lighting can help protect our view of it.

Breck Sky Fest is led by astronomer Luke Huxley and AstroTours.org, which brings guided telescope experiences to communities, schools, visitors, and private groups in Colorado.
The festival builds on that hands-on approach while inviting more local people and organizations into the program.
